What Causes Sudden Dizziness And Shortness Of Breath?

I take no medications. The other day while walking I became dizzy and short of breath. Following eve, I went to the ER as I was even to dizzy to drive. The ER xrayed my chest 2 different ways and took blood and urine samples. They found nothing. As long as I m not moving and don t breathe deeply,I m ok. But walking in my apartment or any slight movements I feel ill. Only dizzy, short of breath. No fever. No coughing, nothing

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Dizziness , worse on movement ,can be related to BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) though there are other causes.
Bppv is related to the inner ear.

This is treated by a maneuver called Epley maneuver. You should consider visiting an ENT doctor to determine if this is the case.

I hope this helps
