What Causes Sudden Dizziness And Breathlessness?

Hello, my husband about a month ago woke up around 3am jumped out of bed saying he had a Charlie horse, as he sat at the end of the bed he said he felt light headed then all of a sudden he fell back, I heard somewhat of a snore, then he collapsed he wasn t breathing at first. I immediately called 911 while I was shaking him. He then all of a sudden woke up .saying what? What? He says he s ok and he seems fine. My question is should I be concerned? Is this a sign of anything? Thank you. Ps I did hang up from calling 911 after he woke up.
