Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I sometimes feel quite depressed but can't seem to figure out why I feel this way in the first place. I'm not always depressed, I feel happy a lot too but Im just slightly worried it MAY be something a little bit more serious that I should have checked out... I think I'm being a bit dramatic so I'm sorry if I've wasted your time!
The common cause of depression is stress. May be due to some work related stress, you have been feeling some depressive symptoms. In that case, you should consult a psychiatrist for mental evaluation. You can try some antidepressant at low dose. That would help to improve your mood. You can also try some relaxation technique or life style modification method if you do not want to take medication. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
Thanks
