my girlfriend died Tuesday in her sleep,she was a type 1 diabetic.she was 47.she was ok round 1130 am..didn t look like she even tried to get up.there was blood coming out of her mouth when paramedics started trying to revive her.her sugar WAS 87 AT THE TIME THEY FOUND HER.NO SIGNS OF TRAUMA,SHE HAD BEEN TO her family dr.the previous day,and was fine.

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. Your girlfriend's cause of death is most likely from hypoglycaemia. Diabetic patients on treatment are in high risk of hypoglycaemia if the therapy is not properly managed with regular follow up.In case of hypoglycaemia there is high possibility of brain damage and sudden death.
