What Causes Sudden Brain Damage While Suffering From Dengue?

Hello doctor, My relative was suffering from dengue and cough and blood sugar..and she was hospitalized in KGMC Lko.. One day suddenly she had a loose motion and her heart rate declined to 30 and after that she is not responding..we shifted her to SGPGI where doctors declared her brain is half dead for past 4months she was on ventilator now they stopped ventilator 10days back.. she is responding to sound by moving her eyes in that direction but unable to speak.. she is taking food through rice pipe in her stomach. Is there any possibility of her brains revival.. was she be able to became normal.. please let me know.
