Iam a 62 year old woman, very busy in my life, also has had recent surgery due to broken knee and foot injury. Currently prescribed medication for seizure, trazadone to sleep , Cymbalta and Subutex for pain. About a month ago I started having difficulty making it to the bathroom and would urinate in my pants. Now I notice I have started having to ware depends at night because I have started wetting the bed, I am not sure what is going on.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. You had developed urinary incontinence.
2. Its most commonly due to alcohol, carbonated drinks or urinary tract infection or rarely constipation. Get your urine analysis done for urinary tract infection. If positive, you will require treatment.
3. If its functional urinary incontinence, you can try life style changes, pelvic floor muscle training and bladder training. Any recently started medication, needs to be looked into seriously.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
