What Causes Strong Smelling Urine And Body Odour When On Norco?
Hello--Am embarrassed here. When I urinate it is very strong smelling, like a toilet sitting w/urine in it overnight. Yuk! Also, I keep smelling an odor like I pooped myself. I am a very clean person and this drives me crazy! It is like the odor is coming out of my pores. The only meds I am currently taking are Clarinex and a pain med called Norco. Can you give me a clue as to what is going on? Thank you, Dianne

Yes, this cant indicate just one disorder since there could be a number of causes for foul-smelling urine.
Most common include urinary tract infection, metabolic abnormality & bladder infection. I would suggest you get urine complete examination & culture done to see if there is any abnormality.
Meanwhile following home remedies may help to improve the condition:
- Drink plenty of water if you are dehydrated,
- Cranberry juice is also an effective home remedy for foul urine odor. It is more beneficial to prepare a fresh cranberry juice instead of drinking a canned one.
- Lemon juice and barley water also help to relieve you of foul-smelling urine.
