Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My sister is having streaks of blood when she wipes after urinating. She has had a urinanlysis done and showed no bacteria and hematuria. She is still young in her teens. Any idea as to what this could be? It almost looks like when you wold wipe a cut. It appears dryish but she has been having this for about a month.
* In my clinic, I do recommend a urine culture with ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis for the diagnosis of the issue and guide accordingly. Till that time period.
- allow her to consume plenty of liquids
- give more citrus fruits with vitamin c
- take care of vaginal hygiene precisely
- check that she is consuming some sex toys or not (ugly, but quite common in teens ) which is major concern of urinary symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
