What Causes Stomach Upset And Eczema On The Scalp?
hi im 42 years old female. I have had an upset stomach for the last couple of years i thought it was my medication but i have stopped taking medication for the last year. i continue to get quiet sick to stomach randomly and it seems to last for atleast a few days I have also developed things that look like acne on my scalp my doctor preformed a bioposy and it came back as exzema or possbily bug bites but they have been a problem for the last 3 months. I also have pitted Keratolysis. i am wondering if all of this is caused by an allegry? or what other things may cause these type of issues?
The stomach problems will need to be investigated with an upper endoscopic examination called gastroesophageal endoscopy. This will visualize the stomach mucosa and if lesion are seen then sample can be taken for biopsy to determine the diagnosis. As for the head lesions they do seem to be separate from the stomach problems and I would encourage you to continue local treatment for eczema.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
