What Causes Stomach Pain Post Intake Of Inderal?

Daughter taking inderal 120mg... changed from 80mg today... says she has stomache ache... any problems continuing with the dose??? What would happen if she stopped taking it altogether ? Drug was prescribed to reduce restlessness accompanying Haldol treatment

Hello, Proplanolol (Inderal) can cause abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting in some patients. These side effects are complained fairly often. Therefore, it is advised to take the tablets after food, that reduces the abdominal disturbance. If the drug is totally stopped then the problems of restlessness can reemerge. Thanks.
