Hi.I get really bad stomach ache when I eat. It s been going on for a few months but recently become quite bad, where if I eat a normal size meal I have to lie down, and I m crouched over if I stand. Even something small, like a low fat hot chocolate, can cause pain. I get some nausea too, but have not thrown up. I have kept a food diary and cannot find any pattern, it happens with pretty much anything, and say it happened with pizza one time, it might not the next. It does seem the bigger the meal, the worse the pain. The pain can also radiate up my back. It s morning now and I m still feeling residual pain from the half panini and salad I had last night. It s got to the point where I ve decided not to eat today. I m a relatively healthy 31 year old female. I walk a lot and work out 1-2 times per week. I try to eat balanced meals, and in general the only other health complaint I d have is constipation (1 to 2 movements per week) and teeth grinding. I drink about 20-25 units per week. I m 23 bmi. I have not noticed any blood in my stools and they are not tar like. I m worried about cancer or an ulcer. I ve got a GP appointment but it s not for another 2 weeks. Any thoughts you have would be much appreciated. Thanks. Laura.
