What Causes Stomach Pain And Fluttering After Ingestion?
I have been having, within the last year, pain in the left hand edge of my stomach, usually after eating, but often it would just show up.Sometimes the pain was enough to make me break out in a sweat.In the last few months the pain level has dropped, but I can feel a flutter to the left off my stomach, under my lower ribs.I had the light in both ends ,and the results were perfect.The length of time this has been ongoing is concerning me, as is the fact that I don't know what it is.

Hello,
Pain in left side of abdomen under rib cage that can make you sweat can be due to the following:
-Severe colitis although your colonoscopy has been said to be normal.
-Gastritis with or without ulcers, upper GI endoscopy will help.
-Tests of stool, tests of blood helps, contrast enhanced CT scan of abdomen.
-For pancreas in particular, clinical evaluation by a general surgeon can be done.
If all the investigations are normal, then the most probable cause can be IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome. Avoid stress and anxiety. Your Doctor will prescribe proper medications.
