What Causes Stomach Pain And Black Stools?
My daughter has been experiencing stomach pains the last several days, has had stools that appear both dark black and as if they have coffee grinds in them. She has an appointment to see a gastro specialist on Monday (in 2 days). My questions is, is it okay to wait or should she go to the ER today?

Well come to HCM
If the stool is coffee color then this may be blood stain and may be due to some lesion in Gastro-intestinal tract, if the pain is severe and stool color changes to red, then this is emergency and you have to take her to ER, if these is not then no need to worry about this, and you can get her to consultant as per appointment, take care.
