What Causes Stomach Pain After Having Food?

After only eating small bites of food I feel like I'm full and I get stomach pains. It goes away a little bit if I burp or go to the bathroom. I feel like I can only eat soft foods and drink liquids without feeling pain. And this has been going on for weeks now I thought it was a regular stomach ache

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of stomach pains and feeling full after small bites of food, goes a away a little bit if you burp or go to the bathroom.
You feel like you can have soft foods and liquids without feeling pain, going on for weeks now, although it was a regular stomach ache.
The history is indicative of gastritis or so as burping is relieving pains a little bit and you get fullness on eating small.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Since you can tolerate liquids and soft diet, continue taking soft and bland diet along with plenty of liquids as tolerated.
Get started on a PPI like Omeprazole,
Ask for a prescription of Domperidone as it may increase stomach emptying and does not give the burping or sensation of fullness.
It is better to get a few investigations like upper GI Endoscopy, Enteroclysis to see whether there is any obstruction and to get further treatment accordingly.
