What Causes Stomach Pain After Having Dayquil?
I have a cold, so this morning when I woke up I took Dayquil. About 5 minutes after I took it my stomach hurt very bad. I was sweating a lot and couldn't really move because of the pain. I finally threw up the Dayquil and the pain is gone, but my stomach still feels a little upset. Is something wrong or do I just worry too much?

As dayquil contains dextromethorphan and pseudoephedrine. It is possible that you have got pain because of the side effect of this medicine. Pain can remain still after stopping the medicine, but it will disappear after 2 to 3 days.
If you get some other symptoms like vomiting, loose stool or fever then you should be evaluated for stomach infection and discuss with the physician.
