Your daughter having fever with blood in stool and cramps.....
These features suggestive towards acute infection of intestine like that of dysentery... It could be shigella like bacterial infection or parasitic infection like entameba....
There is systemic spread of organism in blood leading bacteremia and so fever present
Stool examination done to rule out organism leading this condition and accordingly specific drug can be prescribed
Empirically broad spectrum ofloxacin plus ornidazole given
CBC also done to rule out neutrophilia if present.
Take care
Consult physician for examination and further work up
