What Causes Stomach Cramps And Blood In Stool?

Hello, I am 17 (male) and today I went to the restroom and when I was finished I noticed blood in the toilet and on the toilet paper. Also I have had stomach cramps for two days, today makes day two. What is this and what should I do? I am too embarrased to say anything to my parents, so going to my doctor is out of the question.

Hello, my name is Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
It can be due to stomach inflammation or gastritis.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
-Take antacids and other drugs (such as proton pump inhibitors or H-2 blockers) to reduce stomach acid.
-Avoiding hot and spicy foods.
-Do a test for H. pylori infection.
Hope it helps.
Kind regards!
