Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently switch my diet to include more meet, pork, and had weird reaction with my health. First was stomach cramp, then throwing up... the next day my stool sample was fully white but only once.. now my stools are normal color but runny, very liquid and smells awful. Should i worry?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history switching over to the diet to include more meat and pork, which gave gases, stomach cramps, vomiting, white stool on the first day then followed by normal colored stool but too much foul smell. I would advise you the following: First of all switch over to the foods and beverages that you know suit you the most. Send the sample of stool and blood for lab work. Get a course of an antibiotic and metronidazole. Add on probiotics, activated charcoal tablets and you may be fine. If still the problem persists, go for a second opinion and get a proper treatment.
