Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your query health issues.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.
Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Post-
Cholecystectomy Syndrome.
All these symptoms of the post- cholecystectomy direct and excess loading of the bile acids in Duodenum with retrograde spillage of bile acids causing
bile gastritis and bile diarrhea.
Treatment-
This is treatable condition- by Questran - a cholestyramine- which is bile acid sequestrants, which binds excessive loaded bile acids in intestines after gall bladder sac, which is causing gastritis and diarrhea
So just contact your operating surgeon and discuss these issues on the lines suggested herein above.
Other causes of IBS- such as accompanied undiagnosed
ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease / Tb Enteritis -like ailments etc need to be ruled out with help from your family / and GI-Endoscopist and GI-Surgeon/ and GI-Physician-or Gastro -Enterologist as specialist doctors.
Treatment- suggested-
Sueing doctor is not the solution,as the conditions are the after effects of the Surgical process which was to be done to tide over the acute pain and complications of the gall stones disease for which the Lap-Cholecystectomy is done in your case.
Cholestyramine(Questran)-to sequestrate the bile acids excess in intestines to reduce the diarrhea and gastritis from bile acids/
PPI-like Normaxin-to control bile acid induced gastritis/
Tab Imosec-Lopamide /
Vit-B12 -to treat resultant
pernicious anemia /Folic Acid- to speed up the fast recoupment.
Good low fat/ high carb / adequate proteins and low solid / high liquid diet in early post op period -for early and fast recouping / and healing are needed in your case
Long term treatments as suggested above would recoup the
Stomach bloating,
muscle cramps and gastritis -problem in 4-6 mths time, under expertise of GI-Surgeon/Physician.
This would help you to recover of this problem for the time being.
Other causes as mentioned above need to be verified with your GI-Surgeon and Gasro-Enetrologist doctor-as the facts which you submitted, may in actual be different than what you may really have after actual GI- Surgeon Assessment.
For this
Second opinion from General-Surgeon/ and Gastro-Enterologist doctor and if need be with Specialist-GI Endoscopist doctor, is needed who would do proper investigation after proper physical assessment to resolve your health issues.
For early recovery-please follow above do's which would resolve your issues.
Hope this would help you to treat your health issues in the best way possible.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.
Good Day!!
