What Causes Stomach Bloating Along With Lower Abdominal Pain?

I have been getting persistent cramps and stomach pains mainly in my lower abdomen, this occurs with bloating and also sometimes a shooting/tight pain under my rib cage. Sometimes the pain is so bad that I cannot stand up straight, and/or feel slightly nauseated. I find that this occurs after eating, and after drinking hot beverages, although the pains/cramps occur while i m not drinking or eating anything as well; often times the cramps are followed with gas. I am certain that I am not pregnant, and wanted to ask if this could be a severe digestion problem?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to gastritis. Taking proton pump inhibitors like Esomeprazole(nexium) for long term will be helpful. If that is not helping then an ultrasound examination should be done to rule out problems with gall bladder and pancreas.
Hope this may help you.Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
