Hi thanks for asking question in HCM... Here your child might have outside food toxin induced gastroenteritis infection.... The tablet you are given is probiotic which can be given in diarrhea.... Your child may need antibiotic like ciprofloxacin for bacterial infection... Maintain hydration.....with more water and ORS added water in between .... Fruit juice given more ... Excess spicy and oily food restricted .... If still not improving than stool examination done ....If parasites egg seen than treated accordingly ..like with that of metronidazole or albendazole .... USG abdominal examination also done ... If still needed stool culture might needed ... Consult gastroenterologist .... Hope your concern solved... Take care ..
