What Causes Stomach Ache In A Child?

Hi well im a 13 year old boy and for the last three days ive been having these aches in my stomach that you get when you are really hungry. Ive tried having anti-acid stuff to help it go away but it just stays there. So because its a pain that you get when you are hungry ive tried to drink more water and eat more food but when i consume stuff it just makes it feel worse. What do you think is wrong?

hello
i have gone through your query.Recurrent abdominal pain in your age is common and mostly not very serious.if i was your treating doctor i wud suggest you some steps;
maintain your food regimen and timing properly.don skip meals
if you are feeling hungry don jst drink plenty of water without taking some food.
a deworming drug like albendazole can be taken for any worm infection.

if the pain is more and persistent with the symptom of chronic severe diarrhea , vomiting and fever then you sud consult a physician.

hope this ans helps

Regards
Dr. Shesh
