What Causes Stomach Ache, Fever And Vomiting In A Child?

My nine year old granddaughter is complaining of stomach pain, has not fever, was vomiting yesterday. Very tired and lethargic. She has very dark circles under her eyes. She has a history of UTI, quite severe, but denies any pain or burning when urinating. I think she has a UTI because this how she acts and looks just before she ends up in the ER with a 105+ temp. Her mom thinks it s a stomach bug. Is there a way to test urine at home for bacteria or does it have to be tested in a lab?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Urinary tract infections are possible. In such case puss cells will be high in urine routine examination. If that is clear then acute abdominal conditions like appendicitis should be ruled out also. An ultrasound examination will be helpful for that.
Thanks.
