What Causes Stomach Ache And Nausea While On Sleeping Pills?

Hi. I am taking the pills starting from Friday evening before sleeping. On Saturday I had a horrible headache. So I took paracetamol. On Sunday I started to have throats pain and until now I am having something like stomach pain and a bit headache. Something like nausea I have. Should I stop the pills or still continue?

Sleeping pills like any other tablets can cause gastritis and abdominal pain, but the pain may not be that much severe. You can take antacids like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole to tackle gastritis related problems. Drink plenty of water. If the pain persist despite taking Pantoprazole, it is better to stop the pills and check whether the pain still persists. In case of persistent pain, better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
