What Causes Stomach Ache After Stopping Depo Shots?
Yes I had just recently gotten off the depo birth control shot and I had been on my cycle for 3 months while on the shot and after I got off of it I m still on it and I m in so much pain I m just wanting to go back to my monthly 5 day cycle I have been on my cycle for 4 months no do you have any clue as to what is going on

Hi I think it can be a side effect of depo shot. But better to rule out other causes also. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of prolonged bleeding. You can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. If it doesn't work, you may need high dose of progesterone to stop the bleeding. Hope it helps.
