What Causes Stinging Pain At The Tip Of The Penis During Urination?
I ve some stinging pain at the tip of my penis for the last couple of days. and it seems like when I urinate, not all of it is coming out and then i feel like I have to go more often. Then today I haven t had a whole lot of pain until I urinate. This last time i went I had a lot of blood come out also it looked like some skin or something had torn loose from the inside and came out. I m not sure what to think of this. I m 44 and I have a history of kidney stones.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to urinary stones. Small stone particles can cause stinging sensation in urethra. Ultrasound examination will be helpful to rule out stones. Taking barley water or cranberry juice is good. You can also take sodium hydrogen citrate or potassium citrate in water to dilute urine and dissolve stones. Take plenty of water daily.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
