What Causes Stinging And Yellow Vaginal Discharge While On Chlamydia Treatment?

Hello, Unfortunately I was diagnosed with chlamydia at my abortion appointment. (Given to me by my now ex-long term boyfriend who cheated on me before he got me pregnant after my contraception failed). I completed my abortion by pill on 24th June. I was given anti biotics on the day and was told that they should have cleared the infection. However, today I am stinging and have a yellow discharge. Do you know what this could be? Is it a result of an infection related to the abortion or to the chlamydia? This is horrible. Please try and help if you can, thank you in advance.

It can be due to vaginal fungal infection for which you can take some antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl or moxikind-cv after an expert opinion along with avil or cetrizine for itching. You can take Fole 150 mg or use clingen-forte vaginal pessary to put into the vagina once daily for at-least 5 days. Maintain the hygiene of private part by regular washing or use v-wash vaginal.
