What Causes Stiffness, Pain And Swelling In Knee After Meniscus Surgery?

I had meniscus surgery about 4 weeks ago. Everything went great. After 2 weeks I was able to run and play softball again. No pain at all. After a short run he other day I started to feel a sharp pain in my knee. I stopped and walked he rest of the way home. My knee started to get stiff and swell. I think there may be water on the knee. It also feels weak like if I turn a certain way it may give out.

I strongly recommend to take mri once again if you don't have stability in knee as well to much of pain with stiffness. And based on report do consult a ortho doctor. If report is normal then again take some physiotherapy like ultrasound therapy with knee cap manipulation and as well few exercise for strength and stability. You can also reach me on nirajmodish@gmail.com for detail discussion again.
Hope this was useful for you. Take care
