What Causes Stiffness In The Knees?

very stiff left knee. Its not a ton of pain but feels like there is a band around parts of the knee. Pain/stiffness mainly in front but does occur in back too. About 70% of the time there is stiffness but it does loosen up a bit where I don t walk with a limp. Been occurring for over a week after a week long camping trip where I wasn t sleeping well in a tent but didn t have an injury incident. What is possibly occurring?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can be an early sign of arthritis.

As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
