What Causes Stiffness In Neck Along With Pain In Shoulders?
Hi Sir, need help here.. I got stiff neck for 6 days, I did a laboratory for AP Lateral and oblique views.I cant turn my head l to rand pain in my shoulder and lower neck The results are. Cervical muscle Calcified ligamentum nuchae Mild Hyperthropic oseous changes.. Is the results alarming , because currently doctors in hospitals here are vacation for 1 week due to holiday season...Can somebody explain it . Which of the three is the dangerous that need attention.. thanks... How long does it needed to cure or treat....

Thanks for posting your query.
The report says that there is excess deposition of the calcium in the joints of your neck. This has happened over few months and not recently . The pain what you are experiencing is most likely due to neck Muscles spasm.
I would recommend you to use a muscle relaxants like Zerodol MR . Give rest to neck movement for 2 days and after 2 days do slow movements of the neck .
There is nothing dangerous about it but you require Physiotherapy for few months . Once you get an appointment do consult your doctor but no need to worry.
