What Causes Stiffness In Neck Along With Hot Flashes And Vomiting?

My 17 year old son woke up this morning with a very stiff neck. He has thrown up three times today after getting a hot flash. He says he doesn t feel sick just sore and can t move his neck. He has been lethargic, moodier than normal, and sleepy. He feels a little warm but not hot.
