What Causes Stiffness And Pain In The Ankles While On Pravastatin?
I have been taking 10 mg of Pravastatin Sodium for a about five weeks. I ve noticed that I m having a lot of stiffness and aching in my ankles and both knees. I ve had the aching in my ankles for about a year, but it seems to be worse now. I also have a lot of aching in my back which seems to be of a muscular ache nature. About three years ago, my doctor put me on Symvastatin. That is when the aching in my ankles started. My doctor told me to stop taking it and try to manage my cholesterol with my diet. Does it appear to you that I am also having a reaction to the Pravastatin?
