Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello, Thanks for your query. From description it seems yo might be suffering from hypothyroidism. Although common over the counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil, others) or acetaminophen (Tylenol, others) can help with pain. If pain, stiffness and swelling don't improve after adequate treatment, consult your doctor. He or she may consider other possible causes of your joint pain. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
