What Causes Steady High Sugar Levels In Spite Of Taking Insulin?

I take long acting and short acting insulin.. I made a huge mistake and used 45 units of fast acting insulin. I monitored my blood sugar until for four hours eating to maintain my sugar over 80. This was about two days ago. However now when I take my insulin before meals my sugar does not seem to go down. My question is Could I have damaged my Pancreas by taking that much insulin?

your timing and dose of insulin is to be managed properly. proper monitouring is requered. it is not damaging pancreas. but oral hypoglycicagent can damage betacells. other thing you magain resistant to insulin. better you gofor coagulated hemoglobintest.
