What Causes Stabbing Pain On Both Sides Of The Chest?

I have a question, I have been experiencing shocking or stabbing pains not all the time but sometimes in my chest not just the left side but both sides. this has been going on for over a year. it only last for a few seconds. not sure what's going on. looking for some answers.

and ovoid strnous exercise
