As per your complain dryness and blackness of lips can occur due to a large number of reasons like: Using lip cosmetic products which are not of good brands can be harmful causing dryness and darkening of lips due to chemicals present in it. Exposure to sun can cause darkening and drying of lips. It can also be due to continuous allergy to certain constituents of lip products. Excessive smoking and tea and coffee intake can also cause hyperpigmentation of lips. Dehydration can also cause dryness of lips and long standing case can lead to darkness. Deficiency of vitamins and certain nutrients can also cause dryness of lips. I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated for the exact cause of dryness and darkening of lips and get treated.. You should always use lip balms containing sun protection formula SPF 15. Always keep your lips lubricated using natural products like glyceine or vaseline. Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration.. Limit the use of tea , coffee, cigerattes. Avoid sharing your lipsticks and lip balms with others. Use dermatologically tested lip cosmetics. Try using gentle scrubs available in market or can make at home using oatmeal powder, lemon and glycerine and gently scrub on lips. Hope your query is solved..
