What Causes Spotting Post Intercourse Despite Being On Birth Control Pill?
Hello, I ve been on the pill for 5 months and I haven t missed a day. I have been taking it at the same time as well. Yesterday I had sex with my boyfriend and started spotting soon after. The spotting led into the afternoon and then stopped. I am concerned I am pregnant, is this a realistic concern?
I really appreciate your concern. If you are taking pills regularly then there is no chances of pregnancy at all. Spotting may be due any injury caused during intercourse. There is nothing to worry about being pregnant. So just relax and enjoy your life. If you still have doubt you can rule out pregnancy using urine pregnancy testing kit available in the market.
Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
Best Regards. Dr. Manan
