What Causes Spotting And Vaginal Dryness?

I thought I had a yeast infection (unusual pasty discharge, itching, burning) so I used Monistat 1. The symptoms seemed to be relieved but now, 5-6 days later I am experiencing pasty pink/ blood tinged discharge and vaginal dryness. I am due to get my period so I thought it was just spotting. But it has lasted a day and I m still not having my normal flow. I have not had sexual intercourse but did have oral sex about a week prior to the onset of the yeast infection symptoms. I m really worried that I mistreated myself and can t get into my doctor right away.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the fungal infection being suspected then Miconazole cream can be tried for this if the symptoms persist even after this then is advisable to see the gynecologist some time such discharge may not be due to any disease hope this information helps.
