What Causes Spitting Up Of Blood Post Intake Of Ibrufen And Benadryl?
Last night I was spitting up blood about 20 minutes and it stopped. I had taken ibprophen and benadryl for a back ache. Today I have a rash across my lower belly on the right and a pain in my side. ( no appendix or gall bladder and total hysterectomy) No blood today , just rash and pain and feeling bad. I am 61. Don t smoke or drink and no illegal or over counter drugs

you are taking benadryl and ibuprofen as well side effect of ibuprofen it causes thrombocytopenia which may cause bleeding it also cause Rashes,peptic ulceration and hemetemesis (upper GI bleeding) so just discontinue your ibuprofen but benadryl contain diphynhydarmine,chloroform,sodium citrate and ammonium chloride which does not cause such bleeding.
