What Causes Spitting Up Blood?

yes . when I wake up in the morning I have alot of phelm in my throat. I just started spitting up some blood in the morning. not every morning. i do have reflux dease but take pills for that. what could it be. when i spit up blood its not alot but there is no phelm init just red blood.

I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

Vigorous clearing of throat could cause damage to throat mucosa and lead to bleeding.

I recommend the following.

1) Mucous dissolvent like tablet ambroxol.
2) Avoid smoking.
3) Avoid taking coffee or tea in empty stomach.
4) Proton pump inhibitors like tablet rabeprazole for gastric reflux.
