What Causes Spider Veins On The Legs?

hello, my gp said i should call the vein clinic in edmonton. I ve looked it up on line and was wondering if ther is out of pocket costs associated with the consultation and possible treatment? I have what looks like spider reddish veins on both legs around the inner knee area and one larger bluish spot about the size of a quarter.

This is caused by insufficiency of vein valves and this is common in women of advanced aga or in obese ones. This is treated with elastic stocings and Detralex cream. However in advanced stages we recommend surgery as a permanent solution.
