What Causes Soreness On The Upper Eyelid?

for a few days now my upper eyelid seems sore to the touch it has not affected my vision but it hurts to touch it there is no sign of a stye which I never had I have had cataract surgery three years ago in this eye. Without problems I do were glasses however and have a wrinkle behind that eye which my md eye doctor checks yearly what could this be there are no other symptoms I am 74 yrs old no diabetes.

Welcome to HCM. .
There could be a minor inflammation of the lid..
nothing to worry about it. .
you can do some hot fomentation for the eye.. If it increases you can use antibiotic eye ointment..
