What Causes Soreness In The Neck While Suffering From Grave S Disease?
I was diagnosed with Graves disease a year ago but can t take the meds they prescribed to me bcuz 30mins after I take the meds I fall asleep. I tried taking this medicine for over a month to see if I would get use to it and it wouldn t knock me out anymore, to no avail. So I had to stop taking it as my job requires me to be awake. But yesterday I noticed my neck being a little sore and woke up this morning to it really being sore and it hurts worse when I. Move my neck or swallow. It feels thick to the touch on the left side of my neck from the backside of my ear to the top of my collar bone to about my Adams apple.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persists better to consult a physician and plan for an MRI scan.
