What Causes Soreness In The Left Heel Along With Back Pain?

Hi. I was doing my morning walk at work in flip flops. Everything was fine. I went back to my desk to sit in my chair and immediately got sharp pain in my lower right back. And the left heel of my foot was so sore I could bearly walk. My back has been in pain for 4 days now. It really hurts to bend over and twist. Just laying down I feel a constant throbbing pain. When I rub that spot on my back it feels like it s badly bruised like I feel on the concrete but I didn t do anything. Could this be a pulled or torn muscle or something worse? I m gettin worried. I have been taking Advil but it doesn t help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be due to spine related problems.

Consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan done.

As of now, analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol can be taken for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
