What Causes Soreness And Itchiness On Scalp?

Hello, I have been having strange symptoms that I have not experienced before. I started getting sores on my scalp that come and go in about a week or so time. My scalp is red and itches but when I touch it my scalp burns. Now I am feeling prick type feelings on my body that itch, no rash though. My right leg from knee to foot swelled and had a strange rash for about 3 days. That has went away as well. I am stumped but this does not seem to be going away.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you may be having seborrheic dermatitis on scalp. You can send me a photo of the rash in reports to evaluate it better. I think you should use nizoral shampoo to help it be better. Write me back after using it for 2-3 days.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
