What Causes Sore Throat?

Hello so 2-3 days ago I woke up with a sore throat. At first I thought it was just a cold but I am thinking of the possibility that it might be an std, as I have been sexually active orally 3 weeks prior to my sore throat. I was wondering if there is a way to tell visually if it is an std or not. I have a couple throats colored bumps in the back of my throat but I wasn t sure if that was common to see in people with just a sore throat?

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your throat.

As per your history it can be throat infection because due to oral sex there develope large negative pressure and some times a cause erosion mucosa of throat which is prone to viral and bacterial infection.

For your satisfaction you can visit a. Lab and get STD tests done.
During mean time you must take. Azithromycin for three days only after consulting your doctor.
