What Causes Sore Throat With Illness?
I am a 75 yr old female. I have been ill for 5 days orig. had a low grade fever,chills that s resolved but I have the head and stuffy nose. My problem very sore throat hard to swallow, can t bring up the flem or whatever the substance is. I also have Sjorgren Syndrome so mouth and throat dry. Any suggestions.

Go and see a physician at earliest. Antibiotics analgesics are required.in the meantime gargling with lukewarm water with salt four times might help.
