What Causes Sore Throat With Acute Sweating?

Hi my 3yr old has had a sore throat on and off for months now. I have been to my doctors several times and now we are there every two weeks nearly. I was told four weeks ago she had scarlet fever then two weeks ago, scarlet fever and yesterday i was told it was a virus but her throat wasnt that red so it was probably near the end.But this is not the case she is worse at night she is sweating up so bad the bed is soaked, and she keep gagging like shes going to be sick she now also has a cough one that also keep making her gag i am worried as every time i take her to see my doctors about her throat they say its scarlet fever she cant have had it several times since January this year! Can you tell me of any other illness it might be & if you think this is normal for a child because she goes to play school, or do you think she might have a low amune system?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
The sore throat usually starts with Viral infection and as you said you have been told that its scarlet fever, so its a bacterial infection which needs extensive antibiotic treatment if proven after blood test and throat swab test for streptococcal infection. Sweating is usually preceeded by high fever and when there is sweating it means the fever is coming down. The gag might be due to pain and difficulty in swallowing and pooling of saliva in throat
