What Causes Sore Throat, Swollen Neck And Throbbing Sensation In Ear?

I have a sore throat and trobing in my left ear for months.ive been on 6 antibiotics and none have worked. I also get daily migraine and my head pulsates and burns with it.i had a ct and lumber puncture and both showed up clear.im nearly gone insane with it and in bed in a dark room but that doesn t help either. My neck seems swollen. Do you know what is wrong with me please.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM..

Here you have sore throat and swollen neck with throbbing headache and earache...
You have tried many antibiotic...
But it could be by viral flu or from infectious mononucleosis...
First get your throat swab and send it for culture ...If bacteria isolated accordingly antibiotic given....

Take decongestent like antihistaminic and if needed short term steroid used to relieve inflammatory swelling...

Take paracetamol like simple analgesic...

Take rest...
Local application of lavender oil over scalp useful for headache...
Avoid spicy and fried food for few days..
Steam inhalation with eucalyptus useful..
If needed from swollen lymph node FNAC can be taken...
