What Causes Sore Throat And Right Sided Neck Pain After Removal Of Tooth?
Sore throat neck pain on right side for 2weeks, seen primary care dr 2x strep test negative...was put on zpak for 5 days and prednisone for 5 days...1 dr. said upper lymph node is maybe a bit swollen but that is all probably just sore throat. Had wisdom tooth on bottom right extracted in early may...some nasal congestion but only really In The morning after sleeping on air conditioning. What could it be?

- Avoid intake of cold carbonated beverages.
- Take throat lozenges and do warm saline gargles and rinses .
Visit ENT specialist as well as dentist and get it examined. You should get blood and throat swab test done and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription.
